No, I have not fallen off the face of the blog-osphere.
From the book of good deals: new pants, previously owned because I am dieting, and close to my goal. Dieting saves money on food. Thank goodness too, because two tween boys can eat a lot (of junk).
We were quite thrifty this Christmas. Not exchanging gifts is very easy on the budget, and stress be gone too. No looking for crap for someone who needs nothing and has everything! We just got the kids a few things and called it good. Rob got me a cool NPR t-shirt and I got him much needed socks. We were very happy with these simple gifts.
